PROPOSED

Cathedral Gardens of the Son of God

Home of the Altar of Calvary

The Altar of Calvary with the sacrifice of the Mass is embodied within the proposed Cathedral Gardens of the Son of God. Designed and replicated of an historic ruin site, it is a Catholic architectural semi-enclosed sacred place that immerses you in humble grander, taking you back to the 12th-century.

As you walk the grounds, you are enchanted and surrounded with beautiful sacred art, breathtaking liturgical gardens, stunning distressed stonework, sacred art exhibits, open sky ceilings, towering columns and reaching arches, prayer vignette settings and a magnificent church centerpiece dedicated to the merciful Son of God, the Altar of Calvary.

Pray Among Olives with His Agony

GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE CHAPEL

Just right of the Altar of Calvary is the Garden of Gethsemame Chapel.

Jesus prayed and anguish on the Mount of Olives was so deep that his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Returning to the disciples after prayer, he found them asleep. Jesus asked Peter: “So, could you men not keep watch with me for an hour?”

Holy Hour will be observed in this setting with the Blessed Sacrament.

Alleluia, Jesus Christ is Risen Today

GARDEN TOMB OF JESUS CHAPEL

Left of the Altar of Calvary is the the Garden Tomb of Jesus Chapel. The setting replicates and represents Christian worship and witness located in the heart of historic Jerusalem, just outside the Old City walls. Within this peaceful and contemplative garden is an ancient Jewish tomb, representing a replica of which many believe is the site of Jesus of Nazareth’s burial and resurrection.

Heavenly

Directly above Our Lord hanging on the cross, centered to the dome is Heaven in all its golden glory. Painted angels and Saints hover above you as they circle the sky, giving honor and glory to God, His Son and the Blessed Mother. This is truly a magnificent view representing the Garden of Paradise.

For the ones who love to explore, get a little closer to Heaven with a walk up to the cupola of the dome and take-in breathtaking views of the country side for miles.
